Blown head gaskets and bad oil rings are common problems on many hybrids, At UDRIVE we are experts at repairing these problems. In most cases, especially with higher mileage vehicles, we recommend replacing the engine assembly with a low mileage unit rather than repairing them. Replacing the head gasket or oil rings alone only replaces 1 point of failure and leaves the rest of the engine with higher miles and in unknown condition. Replacing the whole engine gives a longer lasting repair with better results. We keep low mileage JDM engines in stock for Toyota hybrids and can be ordered for all other Japanese made cars. These engines have approximately 40k - 60k miles and are tested 3 times on their journey from Japan to us.
In addition to a low mileage engine and a fast turn around time every engine replacement comes standard with OEM spark plugs, EGR cleaning, intake manifold cleaning, fuel injector cleaning. After completing the repair our expert technicians perform a cooling system pressure test to ensure your cooling system is working properly and to keep your new engine running for many years to come!
